Auronn Half Elven

Auronn has been on his own as long as he can remember. He grew up an orphan on the streets of a town called Fallenwood. Fallenwood was once an outpost of the human empire of Nerath, and in more recent years it has become a rather large town/farming community. Some from smaller towns might call it a city, but those from actual cities would most definitely refer to it as a town.
As a youth, Auronn led the typical life of a homeless orphan – fighting and stealing to survive. By his early teenage years, however, he noticed that more and more of the town’s young people (both his fellow street urchins and other, more well-to-do youngsters began to look to him for advice, for friendship, and for leadership. Being naturally charismatic, it wasn’t long before he found himself leading one of the town’s larger street gangs, which he named the Rogue Dragons. In fact, he was so charismatic and so persuasive that he was many times able to avert conflicts with rival gangs and factions simply by sitting everyone down and talking things out. He even managed to talk several rivals into turning on their old groups and joining up with him…and in this way the Dragons began to enjoy success and also began to make enemies.
As he grew older, he began to use his good looks in conjunction with his charm to an even greater advantage, often wooing the daughters of wealthy merchants and nobles for both pleasure and gain, as he was more often than not scoping out their estates for loot and treasure. The Dragons became notorious in Fallenwood for breaking into several noble houses and making off with various riches.
One nobleman in particular, Vance Von Hillginsteen, was disgusted that his daughter Cassandra had become involved with Auronn and his crew, so he decided to set the Dragons up for a fall. Following false information, Auronn and several members of the Dragons attempted a break in at the Von Hillginsteen estate and were confronted by a rival gang, who had been tipped off by Vance. The gangs engaged in a brawl, not aware that Vance had also tipped off the Town Watch. As the Watch arrived on the scene, kids scattered in every direction, and Auronn ran for his life. He ran straight into the Fallen Woods, which bordered the town on its north side. Pursued by the Watch, he finally found refuge in the hollowed out trunk of an ancient tree. Deciding to hide out in the tree until morning, Auronn fell asleep, not aware that his life was about to change…
The tree was actually an ancient Feywarden Spirit Nexus, and as Auronn slept within its confines the spirits that still dwelt within the tree and the river whose bank the tree rested on awoke and touched Auronn’s mind while he dreamt. They saw that his parent’s had abandonded him…they saw the potential for great things…and they saw that he needed guidance and help. And so, even though they had not done this for many thousands of years, the ancient Fey spirits offered Auronn a feypact, granting him knowledge and power far beyond that of normal mortals.
Some weeks later, as the pact was completed, Auronn emerged from the Fallen Woods a changed man – both physically and mentally. His face had been marked with an ancient Fey Watermark symbolizing the deal between spirit and mortal. His eyes had taken on the pearly and opalescent quality of the Eladrin, those beings native to the Feywild. He returned to Fallenwood to find out exactly what had happened and why he had been set up. The details of his return are murky (as he has yet to speak of them), but this much is known: Upon returning he saw that both his former friends and enemies were terrified of his power (Cassandra most of all…it could be that Auronn cared for her more than he let on…). Vance had him banished from Fallenwood, which was just as well as Auronn knew that he no longer belonged there.
The open road and adventure called…
